36 grit file sheet designed for hand or machine sanding, each 2.75” x 16.5” file sheet with Stikit™ brand peel and stick attachment can be easily used on a hand or air file board. During Stage 1 of the 3M™ Body Repair System use the 36 grit sheets to quickly strip paint from metal, plastic or fiberglass panels. Follow this step with 80 grit sandpaper to refine the 36 grit scratches. Sanding to bare metal will allow the body filler to adhere well to the panel.

Green Corps™ abrasives consist of a blend of minerals that provide increased abrasive life and a faster cut rate when used on body filler. Green Corps™ abrasives are built on D and E weight backing to make them extremely durable for sanding paint, metal, or fiberglass. The open coat construction reduces loading on fresh filler.

Stikit™ sheets are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the file board, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next sheet.
